Every building runs on wiring that somebody had to plan, pull, and terminate correctly, and the difference between work that passes inspection and work that causes a callback is almost entirely in the fundamentals. This course is a hands-on introduction to that work, for anyone who wants to understand what sits behind the wall plate and be able to do the job safely.
You will learn to interpret a wire installation plan and work from it, handle and route non-metallic cable safely, and install and connect the basic components of an electrical system: switches, outlets, and lighting. The course closes with connecting electrical services, tying individual circuits back to the supply that feeds them. Every skill is practiced on real wiring rather than studied on paper.
