Pharmacy Technicians play an integral role in supporting pharmacists and providing safe and effective care to patients across pharmacy settings. Students in this course will be trained to perform the specific responsibilities of a pharmacy technician such as dispensing, packing, and labeling a prescribed medication to assure safe patient care. This course is a PTCB-Recognized Education Program.  Successful completion of this course allows for eligibility to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). Course fees include a textbook, a PTCB Practice Exam, and PTCE.  This is a hybrid class which means you will meet in person and also meet via Zoom for the classes.
