Operate a sewing machine: Participants will be able to set up, thread, and safely use a sewing machine to sew straight seams and leave confidently knowing how to operate and troubleshoot (their) sewing machine.

Complete two beginner projects: Participants will construct a pillowcase and a quilted pincushion by following basic sewing steps.
Apply skills independently: Participants will leave with the confidence and foundational skills to start and complete their own sewing projects. Want to experience sewing? Come learn the basics – sewing machine 101, make a stitch sampler, pincushion and pillowcase.

Participants will leave knowing how to machine sew and create their own stitch sampler and pillowcase in this fun, hands-on day camp. Fabric and a sewing kit are included in the registration price. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine if they have one.
