Ready to take your watercolor further? In this class, we'll turn to the textures and light of the natural world: weathered stone, sunlit water, and the shadows that give a landscape depth. Guided by Felicia Babb Cass, you'll move beyond the basics with techniques that add depth, detail, and drama to your work.
What You'll Learn:
Layering glazes to build depth and warm light without creating "mud"
Lifting color and using masking fluid to save highlights, like sun on water or light on stone
Brushwork for natural textures such as rock, bark, and feathers
Planning a composition that leads the viewer's eye through a landscape
This course is ideal for students who have completed a beginner watercolor class (including Watercolor Foundations) or have some previous experience and want to refine their skills.
Tuition includes all materials needed for the class. Guide: Felicia Babb Cass.
