Carpentry Apprenticeship Level 3

This 100-hour Carpentry Level 3 class is designed with guidance from the Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.  Students will gain knowledge of different aspects of construction procedures, including but not limited to: Properties of Concrete; Rigging; Trenching and Excavating; Foundations and Slabs-on-grade; Vertical and Horizontal formwork; Handling and placing concrete; Introduction to construction equipment; Window, door, and Ceiling trim; and Cabinet installation.  Students will be asked to successfully pass a level 3 Carpentry apprenticeship written assessment to receive a certificate at the end of this course.  If successful, the apprentice will be awarded a certificate equivalent to 144 hours of Related Technical Instruction, as specified in Apprenticeship Standards approved by the Department of Labor.
