Driver's Education High School

 

Hawkeye’s High School Driver Education Program provides 42 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, and 6 hours of in-car practicum to meet Iowa DOT requirements for a Graduated Driver’s License. Students must hold an Iowa learner’s permit, have at least 10 hours of driving experience before the first class, attend all sessions, and bring their permit each time. A mandatory Zoom orientation for students and a parent/guardian will be scheduled after registration.
