Certified Professional Medical Coder

The AAPC Medical Coding Training Course teaches the fundamentals of physician-based medical coding, preparing students for the CPC Exam. The course includes 80 hours of instruction by a certified AAPC instructor, covering CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding. It provides all required materials, including textbooks/e-books, AAPC student membership, a practice exam, the CPC Certification Exam, and the Practicode CPC-A Practicum.
Students must complete the AAPC Medical Terminology (40 hours) and Anatomy (40 hours) online modules, available starting 7/7/2025, before beginning the coding portion on 8/4/2025. Failure to pass these prerequisites will result in removal from the course without a refund. Successful course completion grants a CPC Certification Exam voucher.
