The AAPC Medical Coding Training Course provides 80 hours of instruction in physician-based medical coding, covering CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM, and prepares students for the CPC Exam. Led by a certified AAPC instructor, the program includes textbooks/e-books, AAPC student membership, a practice exam, the CPC Certification Exam, and the Practicode CPC-A Practicum. This intensive program leads to CPC certification.
Students must complete AAPC Medical Terminology (40 hours) and Anatomy (40 hours) online modules, starting 12/1/2025, before the coding portion begins on 1/5/2026. Failure to complete these prerequisites will result in removal from the course without a refund. A CPC Certification Exam voucher is awarded upon successful course completion.
