The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic Rider Course is a comprehensive learn-to-ride program that combines the online MSF Basic e-Course (included in tuition) with approximately 11 hours of hands-on riding instruction. Motorcycles are provided. Students must complete the e-Course prior to class and successfully pass both a written and riding skills test to earn a DOT certificate of completion. Riders must be able to balance a bicycle and hold a valid driver’s license or permit.

Notice

Please read:  The link to your e-Course will be included in your registration confirmation. Bring proof of e-Course completion (print or digital) along with full-finger gloves, long sleeves, long pants, eye protection, and sturdy over-the-ankle footwear. Helmets are required and will be provided if needed. You will not be permitted to ride without proper gear. For riders under 18: Iowa law requires this course for licensure. A valid permit and parental consent are required, and a parent must register the student in person.
