Dual Check Safety (DCS) Operation and Configuration

Dual Check Safety (DCS) is a software option that checks the motors' speed and position data with two independent CPUs in the robot controller. The course covers the tasks a technician, programmer, or engineer would need to set up and use FANUC America Corporation’s Dual Check Safety (DCS) software. This class is specific to robots with version 7.5 and newer software. The course will cover understanding the DCS menu and setting up and modifying general DCS parameters. Configuration and modification of DCS parameters, configuration and modification of DCS input/output security parameters, and setting up DCS frames.
