Hawkeye Community Colleges offers SACA’s Specialist certifications, which certify Industry 4.0 technical skills in operations, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and systems integration. Each certification is keyed to a skilled occupation.

Specialist certifications are industry-recognized, competency-based, stackable, and modular, consisting of a series of core and elective micro-credentials. Each micro-credential includes both hands-on practical assessments and written (online) knowledge assessments. Core micro-credentials certify skills applicable to all companies, while elective micro-credentials can be added to match regional or specific company needs.
