CourseGraphic Participants will learn proper weld safety, machine set-up, and welding procedures of Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) along with fundamentals of welding related to blueprint reading.  A math review of whole numbers, fractons, and decimals is also included.  Students will learn techniques and processes to weld carbon steel in the flat, horizontal and vertical positons and will be able to fabricate a weldment from a blueprint to industry standards. Earning a 10-hour OSHA card is also included.  Students will complete an AWS groove weld qualification test at the end of the program.
