The Basic Hydraulics course introduces the practical use of hydraulic power, providing essential skills for modern industry applications. Key topics include hydraulic power and safety, circuits, schematics, pressure and flow fundamentals, speed control, pumps, fluid friction, and various valves. Additional focus areas include hydraulic cylinders, filters, fluid maintenance, fittings, seals, hoses, clamping devices, and component installation.
Certification Preparation: This course prepares students for the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) C-255 Hydraulic Systems 1 and C-256 Hydraulic Maintenance 1 certifications.
