Critical Care Paramedic Provider Hybrid

This course prepares paramedics for the Iowa Critical Care Paramedic endorsement, equipping them with advanced skills for inter-facility transports. Training covers advanced patient assessments, invasive procedures, transport considerations, airway management, ventilators, pharmacology, hemodynamic monitoring, and more. Instruction is provided in both classroom and laboratory settings, totaling 48 hours: Airway/Respiration/Ventilation (12 hours), Cardiac (12 hours), Medical (16 hours), Trauma (6 hours), and Operations (2 hours). Participants must hold an Iowa Paramedic Certification with three years of experience or a Medical Director’s endorsement.
