Anytime 20-Hour Medication Manager

The purpose of this course is to prepare individuals to safely administer or supervise self-administration of non-parenteral medications in a Residential Care Facility of 15 or fewer beds, and Assisted Living Program, or other community-based settings such as Supervised Apartment Living or Supported Community Living Arrangements.  

The Prepare to Care Core Module will be offered at the beginning of the course. All participants must satisfactorily complete the Core Module prior to progressing to the Medication Manager Course. 

This class will be completed online at your own pace. Must be completed in one month.  The student will meet in person at Hawkeye Community College to complete the laboratory/clinical hours and for final State Testing this will be offered twice a month must sign up with the coordinator to be placed into the lab and testing.
