Series : Summer Sewing

Tuition $250.00

Description: This three-part Summer Sewing series guides students from complete beginner to confident intermediate sewist through hands-on, supportive instruction. Starting with sewing machine basics, tools, and simple patterns, students build a strong foundation while creating practical projects like pajama pants or shorts and taking home a sewing kit. The second session expands on these skills, focusing on pattern use, fit, curves, corners, and improved finishing techniques through a tote bag project that bridges the gap to more independent sewing. The final intermediate class refines accuracy and technique while introducing garment construction, fitting adjustments, seam finishes, zippers, and more challenging fabrics, culminating in a class-selected project. Each class encourages confidence, problem-solving, and good sewing habits, with patterns and fabric requirements explained on the first day and the option to bring your own sewing machine.
