To fulfill the training requirements of OBRA for nurse aides working in nursing facilities and skilled nursing facilities, completion of a minimum 76-hour course and a knowledge/written and skills competency examination are required. If prompted during registration, please provide a social security number. On the test day, you must bring a valid photo identification. If you forget the required identification, you are late, or you miss or are dismissed from your scheduled session for any reason, you will not be allowed to test, and you will not receive a refund. Registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday before the scheduled testing session. On test day, please arrive 15 minutes early.
The following items are not allowed in the testing area (this is not in the all-encompassing list): No smartwatches, phones, electronic devices, writing utensils, notes, books, personal headphones or earbuds, baseball-style cap, hooded clothing to be up around the candidate's ears and face, coats, bags/purses/wallets, food or drink (includes gum and candy), lip balm, scarves/gloves. Prior authorization will be required for any Medical aid/ devices.
