This course covers troubleshooting manual and magnetic motor starters; control transformers; basic motor control and reversing motor circuits.   Students will be testing components of an electrical control circuit, the operation of selector switches, float switches, on-delay timers, and the operation of control relays, as well as systems-level troubleshooting.

Certification Preparation:
The course is tailored to prepare students for the Smart Automation Certification Alliance SACA C-204 Motor Control Troubleshooting 1 Certification.
