Dr. Skaar will bring a new light to functional thinking in the child.  In this session, she will describe the behavior chain and the primary functions of behavior. The learner will be able to describe and apply behavioral terms, explain the purpose of thinking functionally. You will learn functional behavioral hypotheses and match interventions to those hypotheses. Lastly you will be able explain how functional thinking can enhance behavioral and mental health assessment and interventions.
