The purpose of this presentation is to provide a good understanding of how static pressure is related to air flow, what is the effect of high static pressure on air systems, what is the operating point of an air system, different types of fans, fan law applications, and static pressure vs. energy. This course is approved by the Iowa Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board to fulfill two hours of continuing educaton discipline for a HVAC or mechnical license renewal.
