Prepare to Care: Health Support Professional

Prepare to Care is Iowa’s comprehensive Direct Care and Support Curriculum. Students will be prepared for certification as a Prepare to Care Health Support Professional, and certification as a Nurse’s Aide.  Students will learn to support the basic needs of the person served and provide the care needed to maintain health and support specific conditions. Instructors have certification in the curriculum which includes training in adult learning. Methods are used to create an engaging and interactive class environment with a small instructor-to-student ratio. The course fee includes a textbook and materials, which will be given out on the first day of class.
