Fabrication, Temporary Cementation, Recementation & Removal of Provisional Restorations

Please read:  Participants must comply with 1 (one) of the following: a. Hold an active dental hygiene license in Iowa; or b. Hold an active dental assistant registration, and comply with at least one of the following: (1) Be a graduate of an accredited school; or (2) Be currently certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB); or (3) Have at least three months of clinical practice as a registered dental assistant; or (4) Have at least three months of clinical practice as a dental assistant in a state that does not require registration Pre-instructional competency assessment: all participants must complete a preliminary written assessment at 75% Minimum number of total hours: Didactic hours: 4 Lab hours: 4 - 5 patient experiences. Lab training may be done in the office or classroom or a combination. In class, the course will meet half of the lab requirements with the remaining in the dental office. This course must be completed within 6 months of registration. Valid email required. Please allow for up to 24 hours for an online course invite to be sent to your email.
