This American Heart Association course is designed for persons who wish to become CPR instructors for Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver courses. You must have a current provider status in the discipline of the AHA Instructor course (BLS or Heartsaver), and be proficient with those skills. An Instructor Candidate Application will be completed in class. You will need to choose an American Heart Association Training Center to request alignment with. Certification is good for two years and requires at least four courses to be taught in the two year period. Must complete the Instructor Essentials online module prior to the start of this course. https://www.onlineaha.org/courses/97 It is recommended you also purchase Instructor Training Manuals for reference during the Essentials module, and to use in the classroom. Please print and bring your certificate of completion to class. You will not be allowed to attend without this document. American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training. This training is for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care including certification in CPR and the use of an AED. The program will develop basic first aid knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond.  CPR, AED and Basic First Aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR, ECC, and First Aid.  Certification will be issued after completion of course and will be valid for a two-year period. American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) Basic First Aid class is for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care. This course completion card will be in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.  The first aid provider will be trained in recognizing, assessing, and prioritizing the need for first aid. Be able to provide appropriate first aid such as how to treat bleeding with pressure and tourniquets, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.  After completion of course the participant will receive a certification that will be good for a two year period.  100% attendance required.  Ebook and Ecards are included in the cost of the class.
