A certified nursing assistant (CNA) helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

This course will help facilitate your re-entry into the long-term care workforce. This is not the complete Nurse Aide course. You will review content and skills. This course is intended to prepare you for the state competency test. You must have successfully completed a full Certified Nursing Assistant or a Fundamentals of Nursing I course or have worked as a certified nurse aide. You must bring a copy of the class certificate of completion, a copy of your transcript, or nurse registry card as documentation to be eligible to attend this course.

If you forgot the required information to test once you enter the testing site, you are not allowed to leave to retrieve the missing documentation such as the photo ID or Social Security Card, and you will not be allowed to test and no refund will be issued. If you show up late to your testing session, you will not be allowed to test. You will not receive a refund if you are dismissed from your testing session for any reason. Refunds only with two business days' notice. Registration deadline is the Friday before the scheduled testing session. You must register on or before 4 PM to be allowed to test the following week. You will want to register for the written and skills exams for the same time and date.
