This course is to provide you with the proper skills on how to medically assist patients in the water. You will be coached on how to rescue them in Passive, Active and Distressed scenarios, as well as how to administer CPR and first aid while in the water. This course will include a series of swimming drills specifically designed to train you on the most effective ways to enter the water, rescue and rescuscitate drowning victims, and victims of near-drowning with traumatic injuries. There will be a course orientation on June 13 at 10:00 AM in HESC Building, room 218 on main campus.
