Senior Dental Hygiene and Dental Assistant students from Hawkeye Community College will present clinical topics to licensees (area dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants) via table clinic format. Attendees will receive 2 CEU credits upon completion. Topics covered will also be graded by department faculty and will be a requirement for Dental Hygiene and Dental Assistant program students’ classroom competencies. All topics will be pre-approved by Hawkeye Community College Dental Department. Students will also use these presentations to compete in the Iowa Dental Hygienists’ Association Clinical Student Presentations at IDHA Annual Session.
