Adobe Acrobat allows users to convert documents you create in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or any other application into Portable Document Files (PDF). A PDF can be viewed and printed by any with a copy of Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. In this course students will learn to create and manage PDF files. Students will add navigation aids to their PDF files. Students will prepare documents for review and adding security features to their documents. Students will learn to view data in a database and change the view by sorting and filtering the data. Students will create a database and learn to define forms for inputs and reports for summarizing the data. Students will learn to create queries to view a subset of data in the database. Students will create charts to display data and a switchboard to manage their database application. Students will create relational databases and learn to create forms, queries and reports that use relational databases. Students will learn to build macros in Access and to use the macros to expand the capabilities of the switchboard.
